David has been building for 12 years on a range of residential and light commercial projects within New Zealand, the UK and at Scott base in Antarctica. He cuts his teeth on renovations in Wellington where he learned to appreciate the problem-solving side of building. In the UK and in Queenstown he gained experience executing architectural finishes on high-end homes, including some house of the year winners.
He has always been interested in environmentally conscious design. He has been lucky enough to work on a straw bale house as well as spending a winter at Scott base building science labs and facilities, in support of marine and climate scientists. He gets enormous satisfaction out of passing on building skills and knowledge to younger builders and helping clients achieve their dream result. If David could choose any superpower, he says it would be knowing where he last put down his earmuffs. David is a good guy and makes a very positive contribution to the team.
