Situated on an east to west axis, this 115m² dwelling was designed with the view in mind, with skylights to bring light through the mono-pitch roof into the living spaces.
The kitchen, dining and living space (with an open fire open) look out onto the eastern end of the dwelling, with a large roof canopy over the outdoor dining space. A boardwalk surrounds the dwelling and gives it access to the street, via a sweeping elevated pathway.
The bedrooms are located along the southern elevation, along with the bathroom, laundry/mudroom with and an additional outdoor rinsing shower.
The dwelling is clad in a light vertical cedar which runs around the building from front to back, which is offset by the native wetland hedges surrounding the dwelling on all sides.
