Jackson House was an extension and renovation of a 1960's bungalow, with a strong focus on outdoor living. The renovation changed the internal layout of the bungalow drastically, taking it from a 3-bedroom home with 1 bathroom, to 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms.
We maintained the original character of the existing bungalow by retained and resurfacing the native timber flooring throughout the dwelling, while adding double glazing, insulation, and a new internal fit-out throughout the bungalow.
The extension added a seamless flow between the decking, kitchen, dining and living space. The quadrant extension is four separate areas, but operates as a single space thanks to large bi-folding and sliding doors, which bring the outside in, and the inside out.
